Ihsan Relief and Development carried out a joint field visit with a delegation from #CORE to Deir ez-Zor and its countryside, as part of our efforts to follow up on the tangible impact of supported initiatives and to strengthen partnerships with local civil society organizations. The visit aimed to help better align interventions with the real needs of local communities.
The visit included reviewing a range of activities that have made a direct impact on services and livelihoods, including street lighting, cleaning and tree-planting campaigns, supporting schools with water filters, and rehabilitating Dar Al-Kitab in Deir ez-Zor. It also included the establishment of disability-friendly spaces and the distribution of assistive devices, reflecting integrated efforts and a genuine commitment to strengthening community resilience and improving quality of life across the governorate.
