Practical capacity development for fig farmers in Ariha through a training program that includes 5 days of theoretical sessions on governance, management, organizational, and marketing skills. The program brings together 30 members of the representative council of the Fig Farmers Association, followed by 15 days of hands-on field training to reinforce these skills and enable them to effectively manage the association and its meetings, as well as operate the fig nursery and the fig processing workshop currently being prepared as part of Ihsan Relief and Development’s efforts, with support from #GIZ, to enhance the sustainability of agricultural work and strengthen the fig value chain in the region.
