Snapshots of activities of the Creativity Room at Ihsan Child-Friendly Space in Armanaz, where children are learning how to form objects by using of clay in order to provide them with new skills and develop their creative and imaginative spirit.

On October 24, 2017, the Junior Chess Championship was held in Ar-Rastan, Homs, with the participation of 26 players from 11 clubs organized by Ihsan Child-Friendly Space sponsored by the General Commision of Sport and Youth. The Championship targeted children aged 6 to 14 years from all regions and clubs of northern Homs, to be a message determination to move forward and challenge all obstacles despite the difficult conditions experienced by the people inside Syria.

Ihsan Youth Support Center in the Northern Homs countryside continues to provide various vocational courses (Ambulance, Embroidery, Tailoring, Computer, and English Language) to support young people with necessary technical skills for the sake of entering the labor market and secure a better future for them. More than one thousand- seven hundred participants were equipped with these courses since the center opening in 2017.

The Women’s Creativity Center in Jarablus completed the first training course for women and girls in vocational and life skills. Attendance certificates were distributed to about 300 beneficiaries.

In order to reach as many children as possible and provide psychosocial support services, Ihsan Child-Friendly Space in Aramanaz through the mobile team is providing psychosocial support sessions for children and adolescents, as well as awareness sessions on a variety of subjects across several schools, institutes and medical posts in the area.

Ihsan emergency response for the forcibly displaced people from Eastern Rural of Hama “Uqayribat” to the Western Rural of Aleppo. The team has provided Psychosocial Support and Psychological First Aid for various age groups of children, men, and women.
