In Pink October, #BreastCancer Awareness Month, we remember our colleague Intisar Badawi, the director of the Women’s #Empowerment Center in Azaz, who dedicated her life to supporting women in her community.
When Intisar was diagnosed with #cancer, she did not give up; she fought the disease and continued to work until her last day.
Intisar Badawi was a symbol of #strength and #hope. She may have left our world, but she left behind a legacy of work and perseverance to inspire those who knew her.
